Farmers Training of Facilitators (FToF)

Under Farmers Training of Facilitators, the farmers are trained as facilitators after graduation from Farmer Field School. Later these trained facilitators take lead in facilitating (FFS) activity in their villages and local areas.

Farmer Field School (FFS)

Farmer Field School (FFS) provides a platform where smallholder farmers can come together to exchange information, test practices, and co-create innovations. At the same time, farmers gain critical insights and skills that allow them to transition toward healthy and sustainable food and agriculture systems.

Woman Open School (WOS)

Woman Open School (WOS) is a novel mechanism for rural women's experiential learning and skill development. It starts with training on "Pesticide Risk Reduction" and later covers other areas like homestead gardening, enterprise development, health and hygiene, and value addition.

Children Ecology Club (CEC)

Children Ecology Club (CEC) is a learning program to increase the eco-consciousness and social responsibility of youth and children to develop the next generation of leaders who will have the knowledge, passion, and skills to promote and work toward environmental sustainability.

Gender-Smart Food Facility (GFF)

Gender-Smart Climate-Resilient Food Facility and Livelihood is a farm-to-table approach to strengthening local food systems and capacity building to improve production and access to safe food for families. The approach focuses on local capacity building, best practices for sustainable management, and improving families’ nutrition.

Insurance Crop Facility (ICF)

The Insurance Crop Facility (ICF) is to invent new technologies to help farmers get more produce from a small piece of land. The insurance cropping system maximizes production by intensifying the cropping system in time and space dimensions.

Exposure to Pesticides

Pesticides are an important aspect of crop protection against pests and diseases. It is crucial to follow responsible use and application procedures. However, it is also important to be aware of the potential risks that these chemicals can pose to human health and the environment. Unfortunately, the misuse of pesticides has led to significant and often long-lasting issues like environmental degradation and increased health hazards.
